Corrections are the most useful thing anyone sends. Every figure here is traceable to a source, which means an error is findable — and the fastest way to find one is somebody reading the page against the document. That is truer here than on most sites: the national schedule was transcribed by eye off page images, so a transcription error is a live possibility rather than a theoretical one, and every figure names the page it was read from precisely so a reader can check it. If you are writing about a figure, the reply is much quicker if you say which page it was on, what it said, and what you believe the correct position is. A link to the provision or the guideline text is ideal; where a page has moved or been amended since we read it, that is exactly the kind of thing an individual reader notices before we do.

What we cannot do is look at your case. Not because of a policy, but because there is nothing to look at: this site holds no records, has no connection to any enforcement, licensing or franchising body, and does not ask for a ticket reference, a plate number or a licence number. It could not check your position even if you sent one, and it will not guess at it from a description. The authority on your case is the office named on the paperwork you were given — which, in this market, is frequently a city or municipal office rather than a national one, and this site holds no city ordinance text at all.
